What people ask about JamComms.

JamComms is an upcoming email client for Outlook, Gmail, any IMAP mailbox and Microsoft Teams, now in early access. Claude will read each message and suggest where it goes, but nothing will move until you confirm, and nothing is sent until you press Send. The answers below cover launch timing, early access, accounts, safety and pricing.

Every question

What is JamComms?

JamComms is an upcoming app that brings Outlook, Gmail, any IMAP mailbox and Microsoft Teams into one inbox. Claude reads every message, says what it is and how much it matters, and proposes where it goes or drafts a reply. Nothing changes until you confirm, and every change is made in your real mailbox. It is being built by Sanford Labs for people whose inbox is a large part of the job.

When does JamComms launch?

There is no public date yet. JamComms is in early access while we get it ready to host for everyone. Join the waitlist and you hear the date first, before sign-up opens to the public.

What does early access include?

JamComms with your own accounts, Claude triage, the work queues and the phishing safety layer. Invites go out in the order people joined, and early feedback shapes what ships at launch.

Which accounts will JamComms connect to?

At launch: Outlook and Microsoft 365, any IMAP mailbox (iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo or your own server), and, pending Google and Microsoft review, Gmail and Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams chats. Filing, queues and rules will use your mailbox's own folders, or labels in Gmail. Other chat apps such as Slack and Telegram will come later, as each platform allows.

Will Claude act on my email without asking?

No. Claude will read and suggest; you decide. A suggestion moves a message only after you confirm it. The only automatic filing will come from rules you have taught with five agreements in a row, and one disagreement puts a rule back on trial.

Will JamComms send or delete email on its own?

No. JamComms will send a message only when you press Send. Claude drafts replies, follow-ups and delegations, but never sends them for you. Deleting happens only after you confirm, and only to Trash, so you can get a message back. Rules and filing only move mail between folders or labels.

How will JamComms protect me from phishing?

A message flagged as phishing will never show a clickable link, a form or a remote image. Links are rewritten so they cannot open. If JamComms cannot verify a message is safe, it treats it as unverified. Phishing mail is never filed and never acted on by rules or Claude.

How much will JamComms cost?

Pricing will be announced at launch. JamComms will be a paid subscription, and people on the waitlist will hear the prices first, before sign-up opens to everyone. Joining the waitlist is free and does not commit you to anything.

Could an email trick the assistant into doing something?

JamComms will treat every email as untrusted content, never as instructions. The assistant can read and search on its own, but any change to your mail comes back as a pending action that runs only when you press Confirm, so a crafted message cannot move or file anything by itself.
